4 Sifat Wajib dan Mustahil Bagi Rasul

Nabi dan Rasul merupakan orang-orang pilihan Allah yang diberi tugas untuk menyampaikan ajaran Islam kepada umatnya. Karena mereka merupakan manusia pilihan, sehingga tidak hera kalau mereka memiliki sifat-sifat terpuji.

Oleh karena itu, dalam kesempatan kali ini akan coba membahas tentang 4 sifat wajib bagi Rasul dan 4 sifat mustahil bagi Rasul.

Sifat Wajib Bagi Rasul

Shidiq (Benar)

Shidiq artinya benar atau jujur, bahwasanya Nabi dan Rasul pastinya akan selalu dijaga oleh Allah Subhana wa Ta’ala dalam hal kejujuran dan kebenaran. Sangat mustahil seorang Rasul untuk ingkar terhadap segala hal yang diberikan kepada umatnya. Dikarenakan mereka adalah pemimpin pilihan Allah yang telah diutus untuk umatnya.

Amanah (Dapat Dipercaya)

Amanah artinya dapat dipercaya, bahwasanya Nabi dan Rasul tidak pernah ingkar dan dusta kepada umatnya. Nabi dan Rasul selalu bisa dipercaya untuk melaksanakan apa pun yang Allah perintahkan kepadanya.

Nabi Muhammad Shallallahu ‘alaihi wassallam sendiri diberikan gelar Al-Amin yang artinya dipercaya. Bukan hanya para sahabat, orang-orang yang membenci dan memusuhinya pun mengakui sifat wajib Rasul yang satu ini.

Tabligh (Menyampaikan)

Secara bahasa tabligh artinya menyampaikan. Sedangkan secara istilah artinya menyampaikan ajaran-ajaran Islam yang diterima dari Allah kepada manusia. Ajaran ini akan menjadi pedoman dan direalisasikan untuk memperoleh kebahagiaan di dunia dan akhirat.

Fathonah

Fathonah artinya cerdas. Nabi dan Rasul harus mampu memberikan argumen, pendapat, solusi serta dakwah untuk mengajak umatnya ke jalan yang lurus. Maka dari itu Allah memberikan kecerdasan kepada Nabi dan Rasul untuk merealisasikannya. 

Sifat Mustahil Bagi Rasul

Al – Kizzib

Kebalikan dari sifat As-Shidiq yang artinya jujur, Al-Kizzib ini artinya dusta atau berbohong. Tentunya berdusta ini merupakan sifat mustahil bagi seorang Nabi dan Rasul. Sebab ucapan dan perbuatan Nabi dan Rasul terjaga dari sifat-sifat buruk seperti itu. 

Allah Subhana wa Ta’ala berfirman, yang artinya :

“Kawanmu (Muhammad) tidaklah sesat dan tidak pula keliru, dan tidak pula yang diucapkan itu (Al-Quran) kemauan hawa nafsunya. Ucapan itu tiada lain hanyalah wahyu yang diwahyukan.”

QS. An-Najm : 1-4

Al – Khianat

Sifat mustahil bagi Rasul berikutnya adalah Al-Khianat. Sifat ini tidak mungkin dimiliki oleh seorang Rasul, karena mereka tidak akan pernah berkhianat pada umatnya. Setiap amanat dari Allah yang diembannya pastinya akan selalu disampaikan pada umatnya. 

Hal ini juga dijelaskan oleh Allah Subhana wa Ta’ala di dalam Al Quran, yang artinya :

“Ikutilah apa yang telah diwahyukan kepadamu dari Tuhanmu; tidak ada Tuhan selain Dia; dan berpalinglah dari orang-orang musyrik.”

QS. Al-An’am : 106

Al-Kitman

Al-Kitman artinya menyembunyikan yang tentunya merupakan sifat yang tidak mungkin dimiliki oleh seorang Rasul. Sebab, tugas utama dari seorang Nabi dan Rasul adalah menyampaikan wahyu dari Allah Subhana wa Ta’ala kepada umatnya. 

Hal ini disebutkan di dalam Al Quran yang artinya,

“Katakanlah (Muhammad), Aku tidak mengatakan kepadamu bahwa perbendaharaan Allah ada padaku, dan aku tidak mengetahui yang gaib dan aku tidak (pula) mengatakan kepadamu bahwa aku malaikat. Aku hanya mengikuti apa yang diwahyukan kepadaku. Katakanlah, apakah sama orang yang buta dengan orang yang melihat? Apakah kamu tidak memikirkan(nya).” 

QS. Al-An’am : 50

Al – Baladah

Al-Baladah merupakan kebalikan dari sifat Al-Fathonah yang artinya bodoh. Seorang Nabi dan Rasul yang langsung dipilih oleh Allah Subhana wa Ta’ala tidak mungkin memiliki sifat ini.

Meskipun Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wassallam dikenal sebagai orang buta hurup tidak bisa membaca dan menulis, tetapi beliau sangat cerdas dan pandai. Selain itu, beliau juga sangat adil dan bijaksana yang bisa membantu tugasnya dalam menyampaikan wahyu Allah.
