Bagaimana cerita The Minions
Seperti biasa, saya tidak akan bercerita banyak, takutnya nanti malah spoiler. Ga enak nonton film itu kalo udah tahu ceritanya. Singkatnya, film Minions ini akan berkisah tentang bagaimana tiga minion bernama Bob, Stuart dan pemimpinnya Kevin. Mereka melakukan perjalanan dari tempat persembunyian mereka di artik atau antartika, entahlah, pokoknya di kutub.
Sama dengan sinopsis dan trailer? Ya, tentu saja. Hanya saja yang tidak disebutkan di sinopsis adalah nanti di akhir film para minions akan bertemu dengan Gru. Tentu saja saat itu Gru masih kecil karena set waktunya berada di tahun 1968. Bisa dikatakan bahwa film minions ini adalah prekuel dari film Despicable Me. Makhluk kuning nan lucu ini pada akhirnya mendapatkan film-nya sendiri.
Sedikit bocoran tentang The Minions
Ada beberapa hal, berupa fakta dan bocoran tentang film Minions yang beberapa diantaranya sudah diketahui orang dan ada juga yang belum tahu jika belum menonton. Hal-hal tersebut adalah:
- The Minions masih disutradarai oleh Pierre Coffin, seorang berkebangsaan Perancis yang memiliki darah keturunan Indonesia. Ia adalah putra dari Nh. Dini, penulis ternama Indonesia.
- Pierre Coffin adalah pengisi suara dari semua minions. Setidaknya seperti itulah yang tertulis di credit text dan trivia di IMDB.
- Untuk penggemar film, pasti tahu kan bagaimana sound theme ketika logo Universal Pictures muncul? Nah, bayangkan jika theme sound-nya dinyanyikan Minions. Baru diawal aja udah bikin ngakak.
- Ada beberapa “easter eggs” yang menggelitik. Yang masih saya ingat adalah bagaimana para minion terlibat dalam perang Napoleon (CMIIW) dan para minion yang menginterupsi proses syuting pendaratan manusia di bulan.
- Jika anda mencari kapan minion mengucapkan kalimat “TERIMA KASIH” di film-film Despicable Me atau Despicable Me 2, maka di film ini anda tidak perlu mencarinya. Bob mengucapkannya dengan sangat jelas dalam film ini.
- Jangan beranjak dulu dari tempat duduk setelah filmnya selesai. Masih ada beberapa scene lucu yang dapat mengocok perut anda.
- Film Minions tayang pertama di Indonesia tanggal 17 Juni 2015, atau SEKARANG. Indonesia adalah negara pertama di dunia yang memutar film ini. Cek tanggal rilis di IMDB kalau tidak percaya. Bisa jadi penyebabnya adalah latar belakang Pierre Coffin yang berdarah Indonesia atau karena orang Indonesia tukang bajak film. Entahlah, hanya Pierre Coffin, produser dan Allah yang tahu.
Secara umum, film ini bagus. Waktu selama 90 menit terasa begitu cepat karena memang film ini menggunakan fast pace. Jadi tidak banyak chit-chat. Jalan ceritanya pun linear, tidak banyak sesuatu yang tersembunyi, hanya beberapa “easter eggs” seperti yang saya sebutkan diatas. Jadi tidak ada waktu bagi para penonton untuk bosan. Apalagi rata-rata tiap 3 menit ada saja tingkah para minion yang bisa membuat anda ketawa.
Dengan pendampingan yang benar, film ini sangat cocok untuk anak-anak. Tadi waktu saya menonton juga banyak anak-anak. Kali ini studio tidak sepenuh waktu nonton The Avenger: Age of Ultron kemarin. Mungkin karena waktunya sore, besok mulai puasa pertama dan ini adalah film anak-anak. Jangan salah, saya juga masih anak-anak kok. Sebenarnya, cowok itu tidak pernah dewasa, hanya saja mainannya tambah canggih atau mahal. Just it. Hehehe.
