Unboxing Andromax M3Y dari Smartfren
Beberapa waktu lalu (22/05) ada undangan untuk mengikuti meet & greet dengan Smartfren. Saya direkomendasikan langsung oleh om Yahya Kurniawan.
Siapa yang ga kenal om Yahya? Itu lho, orangnya berkulit putih (eh, apa kuning ya?), pakai kacamata dan punya blog yang biasa disebut BOY, Blog Oom Yahya. Ga kenal juga? Ah, sudahlah, kita memang punya kenalan masing-masing. Di rilis yang saya terima via email ada lomba blog, salah satu hadiahnya MiFi Smartfren Andromax M3Y. Nah, pada saat itu aku tidak bisa datang karena jadwal berkunjung ke client di Pemalang dimajukan. Meskipun pada akhirnya ga jadi juga. Hiks.
Nah, aku pikir urusan dengan acara Smartfren ini sudah selesai karena aku ga datang, meskipun sebenarnya ga enak hati sama om Yahya. Eh, ga terkira beberapa hari kemudian aku di-PM oleh om Yahya, bilang kalau ada titipan dari Smartfren buat aku. Katanya sih dibawa sama mas Wawan. Kenal ga sama mas Wawan? Itu lho, yang punya blog satusatuen.com yang sekarang lebih banyak nulis soal wisata. Kalo aku sih konsisten, maksudnya konsisten untuk tidak konsisten nulis. 😀
Kedatangan Smartfren Andromax M3Y
Dua hari setelahnya, mas Wawan kontak aku, katanya mau mampir ke kantor. Ngasi titipan itu. Aku pikir sih cuma kaos dan blocknote seperti biasanya. Eh, ternyata isinya MiFi. Yey! Dapat MiFi Andromax M3Y yang lagi ngehits. Eh, ga ding, rilisnya udah lama kok. Tapi ya tetep gembira, namanya juga gratis. Meskipun di rumah sudah ada IndiHome, tapi tak apa, kan bisa dipakai nanti pas lebaran di rumah mertua.
Ini adalah video unboxing pertama buatan aku. Eh, lebih tepatnya adalah video pertama yang aku buat. Namanya pertama ya banyak kurangnya, banyak salahnya. Tetapi tak mengapa, yang penting maksud dan tujuan sudah tercapai. Silahkan ditonton kalau pengen tahu isi sebungkus Mifi Smartfren Andromax M3Y itu apa aja. Untuk yang fakir quota dan ga bisa nonton video, aku ceritakan deh.
Smartfren Andromax M3Y, tanpa kepala charger
Kotak kardus dari Smartfren Andromax M3Y tidak jauh berbeda dengan versi sebelumnya, baik ukuran maupun tipikal desainnya. Mungkin untuk menghemat anggaran desain kali ya. Hehehe. Meskipun sebenarnya ukuran MiFi-nya sedikit lebih besar daripada pendahulunya, tidak membuatnya lantas memiliki kardus yang besar.
Di bagian luar kardus seperti biasa, tertulis nomor Smarfren bundling-nya, keterangan IMEI, dan lain-lain. Setelah dibuka, kita akan menemukan MiFi Andromax M3Y ada di paling atas. Dibungkus plastik dengan rapinya. Setelah disingkirkan, akan ketemu dengan lembaran-lembaran kertas yang aku yakin 90% dari kaum kita tidak akan membacanya. Dan barulah dibawahnya ditemukan seutas kabel USB. Ya, cuma seutas kabel USB, ga ada kepala chargernya.
Lha kepala chargernya dimana? Kalau aku sih ga kaget, lha wong di luar sudah ada tulisan “Tidak termasuk pengisi daya”, di samping sebelah kiri (kalau megangnya segel ngadep ke depan). Menurutku ini bagus juga lho, ga nambah sampah di rumah. Pada umumnya orang yang beli MiFi udah punya smartphone. Nah, umumnya, smartphone dicharge dengan charger USB dengan kepala terpisah.

InsyaAllah setelah lebaran atau mungkin sebelumnya. Asalkan di rumah mertua memungkinkan saja buat nulis. Hehe.
