Pasang TWRP, Rooting & Custom ROM Andromax A

Tidak hanya Andromax A, bisa dibilang bahwa custom recovery, root dan custom rom tidak bisa dipisahkan oleh Android. Ini adalah satu sisi keunggulan Android, terutama bagi mereka yang suka ngoprek. Meskipun tidak jarang, ini juga bikin puyeng mereka yang tidak paham.

Setelah sekian lama aku memang baru menulis tentang ini. Padahal sebenarnya ponsel Andromax A milikku sudah berbulan-bulan lalu dipasang custom ROM. Awalnya cuma pengen storage yang lebih lega, tapi setelah pindah ke lain hati (baca: Indihome) ya di-unlock juga.

Pasang TWRP pada Andromax A

Pemasangan TWRP pada Andromax A adalah suatu hal yang wajib jika kamu ingin mulai mengoprek device satu ini. Diantara semua ponsel Android yang pernah aku pegang, pemasangan TWRP di Andromax A adalah yang paling sederhana. Hanya mengcopy file ke sdcard dan reboot seperti biasa. Namun memang tidak sesederhana yang aku katakan. Referensi untuk melakukannya ada di artikel dari blog ROOTROOTAN. Klik aja ya.

Di artikel ini juga dibahas tentang bagaimana melakukan rooting. Soalnya memang instalasi TWRP dan rooting ini umumnya jadi satu kesatuan. Diinstall TWRP aja tanpa rooting trus mau diapain coba? Jadi bagian rooting Andromax A tidak perlu lagi dibahas disini. Silahkan ikuti saja artikel diatas, cermati dengan baik. Oh ya, sekedar informasi, pasang TWRP dan rooting ini harus dengan PC/Laptop atau setidaknya ponsel lain yang bukan Haier ya.

Custom ROM Andromax A

Langkah selanjutnya yang pasti terpikir di kepala opreker Android macam saya adalah PASANG CUSTOM ROM. Soalnya rom bawaan asli Andromax itu ga begitu bagus sih. Paling nggak menurutku. Sejak mulai dipasang TWRP dan root pada bulan November 2016, setidaknya ada beberapa rom yang sudah aku coba.

Custom ROM MIUI 8 MultiROM

Ini adalah rom pertama yang aku coba. Emang sih bagus, cuma sedikit panas dan ada beberapa bug. Selain itu baterainya memang menjadi lebih boros daripada ketika menggunakan rom bawaan Smartfren. Kurang lebih seperti ini tampilannya.

Custom ROM Resurrection Remix</h3
Nah, setelah bosan dan bercerai dengan MIUI 8 Multirom, aku menggunakan custom rom Resurrection Remix untuk Andromax A. Custom ROM ini berbasis Cyanogenmod 13 atau Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Salah satu keunggulan dari Resurrection Remix ini adalah VolTE Smartfren bisa nyala. Saat itu aku yang masih pakai Smarftren ya sangat menyukainya.

Custom ROM MIUI 8 Liquid Cool

Setelah beberapa bulan menggunakan Resurrection Remix untuk Andromax A aku, rasanya bosen juga. Soalnya ada beberapa bug, salah satunya adalah setting kadang force closed. Lainnya aku lupa. Aku akhirnya searching. Dan ketemu custom ROM MIUI lagi. Konon katanya ini bugless dan dingin.

Eh, ternyata tidak begitu juga. Setidaknya di ponsel Andromax A milikku, ROM ini sangat lemot. Ya, lemot banget deh. Selain itu kalau untuk nonton video suka panas banget. Baterainya pun cukup boros. Entah mungkin aku aja yang belum rejeki pakai MIUI kali ya. Untuk yang ini, silahkan cari sendiri ya, soalnya waktu aku buka blog yang dulu tempat aku download, eh sudah ga ada lagi.

Custom ROM Lineage OS 13

Lineage OS ini adalah metamorfosa dari CyanogenMod yang dihentikan pengembangannya beberapa waktu lalu. Setelah kecewa dengan MIUI 8 Liquid Cool, terpikir untuk kembali mencari custom rom berbasis CyanogenMod. Ketemulah Lineage OS ini. Hasilnya tidak terduga. Custom rom ini sangat stabil.

Sejauh ini aku belum menemukan bug ada di dalamnya. Storage yang disisakan juga lumayan luas. Hanya di rom ini aku berani install banyak sekali aplikasi tanpa takut lag. Ada Whatsapp, Telegram, Tokopedia, Bukalapak, Grab, Gojek, Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, Noble Quran dan lain-lain. Semuanya berjalan mulus. Pokoknya top markotop deh. Kalau mau install custom rom ini, silahkan ke CARAROOT.COM aja ya.

Hingga detik artikel ini dibuat, aku masih pakai Lineage OS 13 dari cararoot.com. Mungkin akan bertahan lebih lama karena custom rom ini sudah sempurna, menurutku. Bagaimana pendapat kalian? Apa yang sudah kalian lalui?
