Transaksi Menggunakan Debit Online BCA

Pada artikel sebelumnya tentang Debit Online BCA, aku memang belum mencoba menggunakannya untuk berbelanja atau melakukan transaksi. Alasannya? Sederhana saja, tidak ada yang harus dibayar atau dibeli. Setelah beberapa waktu, aku baru menyadari ada dua hal yang dapat aku lakukan untuk mencoba Debit Online BCA.

Menambahkan Debit Online BCA di akun Paypal

Saat ini ada dua kartu yang sudah aku tambahkan di Paypal, yakni Kartu Kredit dengan jenis BCA Visa dan eCard Jenius dengan jenis VISA juga. Sebenarnya paypal aku gunakan untuk transaksi yang cukup “beresiko” jika menggunakan kartu secara langsung, jadi memang tidak sering aku gunakan. Aku pikir, tidak ada salahnya menambahkan kartu ketiga sebagai sumber dana di Paypal.

Setelah login, akan masuk ke halaman dashboard Paypal. Dari sana, cari saja tombol di kanan yang bertuliskan Link a Card or Bank. Klik aja, setelah itu ada pilihan, Card atau Bank, pilih Card, lalu akan diarahkan ke halaman seperti ini:

Isi detailnya dengan detail sesuai dengan kartu Debit Online BCA yang kamu punya. Setelah itu klik Link Card. Dan voila! Gagal sodara-sodara.

Kemungkinan besar adalah kartu Debit Online BCA hanya mendukung transaksi menggunakan 3D Secure, sehingga tidak bisa ditambahkan ke Paypal.

Kesimpulannya: kartu Debit Online BCA tidak dapat digunakan untuk verifikasi atau ditambahkan di Paypal.

Debit Online BCA untuk deposit di Upcloud

Hal kedua yang aku rasa bisa digunakan untuk mencoba Debit BCA Online adalah melakukan deposit di Upcloud. Aku memang memiliki beberapa VPS di Upcloud. Seperti DigitalOcean, Upcloud menerapkan pembayaran di muka atau deposit. Untuk itu penting menjaga balance supaya tidak habis. Kebetulan sekali, hari ini balance aku tinggal $3 saja.

Setelah login ke dashboard Upcloud, klik gambar profil di kanan atas, lalu pilih Billing. Di bagian Billing Option, pilih tab Manual one time payment. Setelah itu klik kotak di bagian kanan yang bertulis Add new.

Setelah itu akan muncul popup untuk mengisi detail kartu. Isi sesuai dengan kartu Debit Online BCA kamu, lalu klik Save card. Pada gambar diatas, kartu sudah aku masukkan, tanpa screenshot form-nya karena aku berpikir bahwa mungkin saja akan seperti Paypal, tidak bisa digunakan. Ternyata aku salah, disini Debit Online BCA masuk dengan mudahnya. Dari sini proses belum selesai karena itu baru menyimpan kartunya saja.

Lihat dibawah tab, ada isian Amounts, isi dengan berapa banyak yang akan kita depositkan. Untuk mata uang, saya tetap memilih dolar amerika, karena memang rupiah tidak ada di pilihan. Seringnya saya hanya topup minimal saja, yakni 10 dolar amerika. Setelah itu klik pada tombol Pay now, yang berwarna ungu itu.

Awalnya agak lama ada loadingnya, aku pikir gagal lah ini. Tak lama keluar keluar popup tapi kosong. Wait for it… tadaaaa… ternyata verifikasi menggunakan Mastercard SecureCode. Kalau Visa namanya 3DSecure. Jadi akan ada 6 digit angka yang disebut token ke nomor yang terdaftar di Mobile Banking kita. Setelah memasukkan token yang didapat via SMS, pembayaran diproses dan saldo bertambah.

Setelah itu aku buka iBanking BCA untuk melihat, berapa kurs yang digunakan untuk transaksi ini. Dengan deposit $10, aku kena charge Rp. 151.488,75 atau Rp. 15.148,88 per $1. Kurs jual saat hari transaksi di KlikBCA adalah Rp. 14.930,- per $1. Jadi memang lebih mahal sekitar 200-an rupiah. Tapi tidak masalah, masih cukup rasional menurutku.

Nah, demikian pengalamanku mencoba menggunakan Debit Online BCA untuk melakukan pembayaran di internet. Selanjutnya mungkin aku akan coba menggunakan Debit Online BCA untuk melakukan pembayaran di Google Play. Kalau ada pengalaman lain menggunakan Debit Online BCA, share di komentar ya, kawan!
