Tips Tidak Ngantuk Saat Sholat Jum’at
Sholat Jum’at adalah kewajiban muslim, utamanya laki-laki. Bisa dikatakan belum laki jika seorang muslimin belum sholat Jum’at.

Seperti layaknya ibadah yang lain, tentu ada rasa enggan untuk berangkat dan kalaupun sudah sampai di masjid, pasti ngantuk. Basuhan air wudhu yang segar dan hawa masjid yang sejuk dan kadang semilir membuat kita terlena. Mengantuk adalah suatu serangan yang dialami hampir sebagian besar muslimin.
Sudah, tidak perlu menyalahkan syaitan jika rasa kantuk menyerang saat khutbah Jum’at. Apa lagi jika khatib-nya tidak terlalu menarik, baca buku dan tidak menghayati khutbahnya. Hati-hati lho, entar malah ga dengerin khutbah, wudhu batal dan akhirnya ibadah kita ga sempurnah. Ehm, sebenarnya ada yang bisa kita lakukan, setidaknya untuk meminimalisir rasa kantuk.
Tips #1: Berhenti bekerja minimal 1 jam sebelumnya
Umumnya orang mulai berbondong-bondong ke masjid sekitar pukul 11.30 – 12.00 WIB. Anggap saja kita ambil 11.30, maka paling lama pukul 10.30, anda sudah harus selesai bekerja, apapun yang anda kerjakan. Untuk para pekerja kantoran, berhentilah bekerja dan mulailah berpikir bahwa ini hari Jum’at.
Kenapa berhenti bekerja selama itu?
Pada saat berhenti mengerjakan sesuatu, otak akan berada pada mode standby. Hal ini akan membuat otak anda mulai lebih aktif bekerja. Masih inget apa yang terjadi pada saat anda akan tidur dan otak anda seperti masih terus bekerja? Tentu saja anda tidak akan merasakan ngantuk, kan? Itu adalah cara yang tepat untuk “mengakali” tubuh anda supaya tidak ngantuk.
Tips #2: Jangan menunduk, tegakkan kepala
Kecenderungan orang ketika jumatan itu nunduk. Ngantuk ataupun tidak ngantuk dan berzikir, kebanyakan sih nunduk. Saya merasakan sendiri ada perbedaan “perasaan” ngantuk ketika nunduk dan ketika menegapkan badan dan kepala. Saya juga sudah melakukan survey kecil-kecilan kepada beberapa orang dan mendapatkan hal yang serupa.
Menurut saya, menunduk itu memberikan perasaan nyaman dan aman. Hal ini memicu otak untuk lebih rileks. Kombinasi antara otak yang rileks dan tubuh yang tidak melakukan hal apapun (kalo jumatan hanya duduk saja, kan?) akan membuat orang mengantuk. Menegapkan badan dan berusaha menegakkan kepala akan membuat tubuh mengeluarkan tenaga ekstra. Hal ini akan mengaktifkan kembali keadaan tubuh yang tadinya “standby”.
Tips #3: Listen carefully and think about it
Sebagai muslim, perintah darimana yang anda percayai? Tentu dari Allah lewat Al-Quran, bukan? Kalo Allah mengajak anda untuk berpikir, anda mau, tidak? Sekedar info, kata kerja ta’qilun terulang sebanyak 24 kali dan kata kerja ya’qilun sebanyak 22 kali. Sedangkan, kata kerja ‘aqala, na’qilu, dan ya’qilu masing-masing terdapat satu kali.
Kalo ga percaya, silahkan kaji sendiri deh, atau tanya sama pak ustadz masing-masing. Bagi saya itu artinya Allah mengajak kita untuk berpikir. Termasuk pada saat sholat Jum’at. Mendengarkan khutbah itu wajib hukumnya, bahkan ga sah sholatnya kalo ga dapet khutbahnya. Daripada sekedar dengerin, kenapa ga kita gunain juga akal kita untuk memikirkan apa yang disampaikan oleh khatib?
Anggap saja kita ada di sebuah kelas dan guru ada di depan membahas sesuatu. Apakah kita hanya bengong saja tidak berpikir? Tentu saja tidak. Ini menjadikan kita kembali ke pasal pertama, yakni membuat otak kita bekerja supaya kita tidak ngantuk. Lagipula, memikirkan apa bahasan khutbah masih lebih baik daripada ketiduran, kan?
