Premium Carrot Cake, Varian Baru Jogja Scrummy
Dalam artikel sebelumnya tentang blogger buka bersama dengan Jogja Scrummy, aku sempat sedikit membahas tentang Premium Carrot Cake. Disini aku akan lebih detailkan tentang Premium Carrot Cake itu.
Premium Carrot Cake adalah produk terbaru dari Jogja Scrummy. Konon katanya carrot atau wortel yang digunakan oleh Jogja Scrummy adalah wortel lokal yang berasal dari petani dari lereng gunung Merapi. Awalnya aku pikir yang namanya Carrot Cake yang dominan adalah wortelnya, ternyata aku salah.
Yah namanya aku ini wong ndeso, terlalu lugu karena sudah menyaksikan yang namanya Cheese Cake, dimana disitu kan dominan cheese/keju-nya. Apalagi belum pernah makan sebelumnya, cuma tahu Carrot Cake dari resep di Google aja sih. Disitu tertera komposisi wortel dan tepung lebih banyak wortelnya. Cuma ga nyangka aja jadinya emang ga terlalu terasa wortelnya.
Unboxing Premium Carrot Cake Jogja Scrummy
Pertama-tama, kita akan unboxing dulu ya. Kita lihat seperti apa sih Premium Carrot Cake dari Jogja Scrummy itu. Ini dia penampakannya kalau wadahnya dibuka.
Diatas adalah gambar ketika box Premium Carrot Cake Jogja Scrummy ini dibuka. Kelihatan seperti tumpukan parutan coklat dimana-mana. Cake-nya sendiri jadi seperti ga kelihatan. Setelah ini aku tampilkan gambar ketika cake-nya dibelah dengan pisau yang bukan peruntukannya. Soalnya emang ga punya pisau roti sih. 🙂
Jadi sebenarnya cake-nya itu dua lapis. Lapisan paling bawah dikasi krim coklat, lalu ditimpa lapisan atasnya, trus dikasi krim coklat dan parutan coklat. Istri bilang kalau Carrot Cake ini “terlalu coklat”. Ya mau gimana lagi, namanya juga varian Chocolate. 🙂
Jadi, gimana rasanya Premium Carrot Cake itu?
Berhubung aku belum pernah makan Carrot Cake sebelumnya, jadi ya ga bisa ngebandingin sama yang lainnya. Sepertinya aku kebagian Chocolate Carrot Cake deh, sehingga kelihatan banget dominan parutan coklat. Jadi kesan waktu makan Carrot Cake ini adalah:
- Toping-nya emang labil. Jadi kalau makan mesti ati-ati. Kalau nggak, parutan coklatnya bisa berlarian kemana-mana dan kalian akan berakhir dengan menyapu lantai. Kecuali kalau kalian menganut paham “belum lima menit” seperti aku. Jatuh di lantai ya dicomot masukin mulut. Hehehe.
- Carrot cake ini tekstur visualnya tidak berbeda jauh dengan kue bolu biasa, sedikit lebih kasar. Di dalamnya ditambahkan semacam kacang (mungkin mete, soalnya bungkusnya udah ilang) dan juga kismis. Cuma ketika dimakan agak lembut di mulut, tidak sekasar penampakannya.
- Aroma cake-nya mirip dengan kue bolu kering jadul yang pernah aku makan jaman masih SD. Dominan aroma kayu manis dan vanili. Tentu saja masalah rasa tidak sama, namanya jajan pasar yang murah dengan jajanan oleh-oleh khas dengan bandrol harga 65 ribuan ya jelas beda, dong! 🙂
Kurang lebih seperti itulah pengalamanku dengan Premium Carrot Cake dari Jogja Scrummy. Kalo masalah rasa sih tergantung selera, soalnya makanan, tiap lidah bisa beda. Bagiku ya enak, meskipun coklatnya bikin eneg, jadi dua potong seukuran di gambar diatas itu aja udah ga mau lagi. 🙂
