Sore kemarin (22/04/2015) saya menonton film The Avengers: Age of Ultron di Jogja City Mall XXI. Untuk mendapatkan tempat duduk nyaman, saya memesan menggunakan Mtix seminggu sebelumnya.

Sedikit spoiler, film dibuka dengan aksi The Avengers yang terdiri dari Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Black Widow dan Hawkeye sedang menggempur basis kekuatan Hydra yang terakhir. Awalnya saya kurang paham kenapa Thor ikutan, tapi ternyata ia mencari tongkat milik Loki. Petunjuk untuk film ini, nontonlah “I, Robot” film Will Smith di tahun 2004.

The Avengers memang dibuat sebagai pamungkas untuk setiap satu rangkaian film Marvel Universe. Untuk itu dalam film ini kita diajak untuk berpikir keras karena tidak semua hal dijelaskan secara gamblang. Untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang “apa yang dibahas dan kenapa bisa begitu” di The Avengers: Age of Ultron ini, kita dipaksa untuk mengingat jalan cerita dan detail kecil yang ada di film-film sebelumnya, bahkan pada film yang tidak tampak terkait seperti The Guardian of Galaxy.
Tentang batasan umur di The Avengers: Age of Ultron
Batasan umur atau biasa disebut rating adalah tingkatan usia yang diperbolehkan untuk menonton sebuah film. Saya pikir film ini tidak dimaksudkan untuk anak-anak. Ini terbukti dengan rating dari Amrik sana yang PG13 atau diatas 13 tahun dengan bimbingan orangtua. Malah menurut saya ratingnya adalah A atau dewasa. Toh di Indonesia, rating hanyalah sekedar rating.
Kemarin itu saya banyak melihat anak kecil dibawah 13 tahun nonton film The Avengers: Age of Ultron. Maka saya berani bilang bahwa batasan umur di bioskop Indonesia adalah mitos. Ini bukan kali pertama saya melihat penonton yang tidak memenuhi kriteria rating film. Di waktu-waktu sebelumnya juga banyak seperti ini. Tampaknya pihak bioskop tidak ingin repot dengan mengatur batasan umur. Tapi tak apalah, bukan urusan saya juga kok. 🙂
Dan yang terakhir, saya sarankan tidak perlu menunggu post-credit scene untuk mendapatkan cuplikan petunjuk film berikutnya. Setelah cuplikan yang menampilkan Thanos berkata, “Fine, i’ll do it myself”, sebaiknya segera angkat pantat untuk keluar dari bioskop karena tidak ada lagi post-credit scene yang akan tampil. Meskipun saya tidak menyesal juga sih menonton credit sampai akhir, hanya untuk mengetahui bagaimana susahnya membuat film itu.
Oke, saya rasa cukup segitu dulu, nanti akan saya bahas lebih lanjut ceritanya 1-2 minggu kedepan, saat hampir semua orang sudah menonton film ini. Selamat menonton!
