Diskusi HIV/AIDS Komunitas Blogger Jogja & KPA DIY
Pada hari Minggu (25/8), digelar sebuah acara yang bertajuk Diskusi HIV/AIDS Komunitas Blogger Jogja (KBJ) bersama KPA Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta (DIY). Acara ini bertempat di Mang Engking, jalan Soragan nomor 13, Yogyakarta. Dihadiri sekitar 20 orang anggota KBJ, acara ini dikemas secara semi-formal.
Pak Yusuf dari LSM Vesta, sosialisasi HIV/AIDS pada laki-laki.
Hadir dalam acara ini Ibu Runie dan Juni Avianti. Keduanya merupakan perwakilan dari KPA DIY. Ada pula Yusuf Kusumo Nugroho dari LSM Vesta dan Diah dari LSM Victory Plus. LSM Vesta merupakan LSM yang berkonsentrasi pada pencegahan HIV/AIDS pada laki-laki. Sedangkan LSM Victory Plus berkonsentrasi pada pendampingan bagi Orang Dengan HIV/AIDS (ODHA).
“KPA DIY dulu bernama KPAP, singkatan dari KPA Provinsi, tapi setelah adanya UU Keistimewaan, biasa disebut KPA DIY,” demikian penjelasan ibu Runie memperkenalkan KPA kepada para peserta. Beliau juga menjelaskan bahwa KPA DIY merupakan lembaga koordinasi yang anggotanya terdiri dari LSM, Instansi (SKPD/Dinas) dan juga lembaga swasta lainnya. Jadi KPA memang tidak terlalu banyak melakukan sosialisasi HIV/AIDS karena sudah dilakukan oleh anggota-anggotanya.
Pembicara berikutnya adalah Yusuf Kusumo Nugroho dari LSM Vesta. Dengan mengemas materi menjadi semacam kuis, ia membahas mengenai Infeksi Menular Seksual (IMS) dan penularannya, yang salah satunya adalah HIV/AIDS. Dibagi menjadi empat kelompok yang saling berkompetisi, membuat suasana menjadi cair dan penuh canda. Para peserta pun dengan mudah mencerna materi yang ada.
Diah dari LSM Victory Plus yang mendapat giliran berbicara paling akhir, tidak membawakan materi secara formal, namun hanya diisi dengan dialog santai mengenai Orang Dengan HIV AIDS (ODHA). Pertanyaan dari para peserta pun beraneka ragam, mulai dari obat anti retroviral, efek sampingnya, hingga biaya yang dibutuhkan untuk perawatan ODHA per bulannya.
“Menjadi ODHA itu tidak mudah, oleh karena itu mereka membutuhkan dukungan dari orang-orang di sekitarnya,” demikian pesan Diah di sesi terakhir itu. Acara kemudian dilanjutkan dengan makan siang dan ditutup secara informal oleh ibu Runie.
