Calon Presiden Indonesia Ideal? Dahlan Iskan!
Sebentar lagi Indonesia akan mencari presiden baru, tepatnya tahun 2014 besok. Kenapa saya sebut presiden baru? Tentu saja baru karena presiden kita sekarang, pak SBY sudah tidak boleh mencalonkan diri lagi. Lalu, siapa yang pantas menggantikannya?

Jika saya yang diberi pertanyaan tersebut, akan saya jawab bahwa hanya satu orang yang pantas menggantikan pak SBY. DAHLAN ISKAN. Jika anda mengenalnya sebagai pemilik Grup Jawa Pos, Mantan Direktur PLN dan sekarang menjadi Menteri Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN), ya itulah Dahlan Iskan yang saya maksud.
Kenapa harus Dahlan Iskan?
Jika kita bicara mengapa seseorang pantas menjadi presiden, maka pertama kali yang kita lihat adalah rekam jejak. Dahlan Iskan termasuk satu dari sedikit pengusaha yang memiliki rekam jejak tak tercela. Perusahaan yang pernah dipimpinnya tidak terlibat dalam kasus korupsi, begitu pun beliau secara pribadi. Pengalaman dari kecil hingga masa kini cukup “berbeda” dari kebanyakan politisi saat ini.
Hal kedua yang kita pertimbangkan adalah karakter. Filosofi intensifikasi umur yang beliau anut sudah cukup memberikan kita keyakinan bahwa beliau adalah orang yang tidak ingin membuang waktu dengan menunda-nunda suatu pekerjaan. Karakter asertif, tegas, pendobrak namun manusiawi yang beliau miliki telah terbukti membawa perubahan pada jajaran kementerian BUMN dan juga seluruh BUMN yang beliau pimpin.
Mengenai prestasi, jangan ditanya lagi. Sebagai pengusaha, beliau telah membawa Jawa Pos Group dari koran dengan oplah 6000 eksemplar menjadi sebuah kerajaan media. Sebagai Direktur Utama PLN, beliau telah membawa perubahan kultur kerja dan pelayanan pada masyarakat. Ketika diangkat sebagai Menteri BUMN, beliau menggunakan BUMN sebagai alat untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat melalui bidang-bidang yang digeluti BUMN tersebut.
Bisa anda menyebutkan satu nama menteri BUMN sebelumnya yang melakukan hal semacam ini?
Kenapa tidak Joko Widodo saja?
Melihat sepak terjang Joko Widodo yang saat ini baru menjabat sebagai gubernur DKI, saya juga menaruh harapan bahwa suatu saat beliau bisa menapaki pucuk pimpinan di negeri ini. Akan tetapi saya adalah orang yang tidak suka melihat orang yang melanggar janji. Pria yang akrab disapa Jokowi ini baru saja duduk sebagai gubernur DKI, bahkan belum ada satu tahun.

Bang Jokowi berjanji akan membenahi DKI. Sementara ini semua itu sedang berproses, belum bisa dikatakan 100 persen selesai. Fondasi birokrasi yang sedang beliau bangun juga masih belum kokoh. Masih banyak hal-hal yang perlu dibenahi oleh beliau. Oleh karena itu ada baiknya jika beliau tidak “naik pangkat” menjadi presiden, untuk sementara waktu ini.
Meskipun ada yang bilang, kan kalo Jokowi jadi presiden, berarti diatas gubernur DKI. Selamat pagi, kawan-kawan! Sekarang ini jamannya otonomi daerah. Pemerintah pusat tidak bisa seenak udelnya memaksakan suatu program kepada pemerintah daerah. Mungkin yang bilang begitu perlu membaca kembali undang-undang tentang Otonomi Daerah.
Dahlan Iskan sih oke, tapi partai Demokrat?
Saya sendiri awalnya juga menyayangkan kenapa abah Dahlan Iskan harus “nemplok” di partai Demokrat untuk menjadi calon presiden. Ternyata setelah saya mencari info, hampir semua partai politik “tertutup” untuk beliau. Lihat saja Golkar dan Hanura yang sudah menetapkan capresnya. Selain itu hanya partai Demokrat yang cukup terbuka dalam pemilihan capresnya.
Ada yang bilang, kenapa tidak jalur independen? Tentu saja tidak bisa. Presiden hanya bisa diajukan oleh partai politik atau gabungan partai politik. Itulah bunyi Undang Undang Dasar sebagai konstitusi kita. Selain itu, partai Demokrat memiliki citra yang menurun belakangan ini. Saya menebak bahwa sebagai pengusaha, abah Dahlan tahu bahwa “membeli barang rusak” itu lebih murah daripada barang yang masih bagus. 🙂
Maka dari itu saya tidak khawatir mengenai bagaimana pemerintahan abah Dahlan Iskan jika nanti terpilih menjadi presiden periode 2014-2019 nanti. Karakter kuat beliau yang justru akan meniup kapal Indonesia menuju ke arah yang lebih baik nantinya. Bagaimana menurut pendapat anda?
