Install CWM di Lenovo A706 Tanpa Komputer

CWM adalah kepanjangan ClockWorkMod. Sebenarnya yang dimaksud adalah CWM Recovery. Sebuah aplikasi recovery yang biasa dipakai oleh pengguna Android, terutama pengguna Lenovo A706.

CWM Recovery digunakan oleh mayoritas pengguna Android yang suka ganti-ganti versi firmware atau biasa disebut ROM karena kemudahan dan fleksibilitasnya. Ada cara untuk menggunakan CWM Recovery ini tanpa memasangnya seperti dalam tutorial tentang rooting Lenovo A706. Tetapi bagaimana dengan yang tidak punya komputer? Tenang saja, ada 1001 jalan dalam Android.

Install CWM dengan Terminal Emulator

Apa itu terminal emulator? Terminal emulator adalah antarmuka berbasis teks untuk memberikan perintah-perintah kepada smartphone android kamu. Android itu Linux, maka semua yang berbau Linux ada di Android. Untuk melakukan instalasi CWM Recovery tanpa komputer, kamu harus punya Terminal Emulator. Dapatnya dimana? Gampang, download aja yang sudah aku rekomendasikan dari Playstore ini.

Memulai instalasi CWM Recovery

Hal pertama yang harus kamu siapkan adalah daya baterai yang penuh. Jangan pernah mengoprek sistem Lenovo A706 dengan kapasitas baterai yang sudah menipis. Paling tidak, sisa daya sekitar 70% adalah angka yang cukup baik. Kenapa begitu? Jelas saja jika dalam melakukan perubahan sistem masih diproses dan berhenti di tengah jalan karena kehabisan baterai, maka sistem akan rusak dan mengalami bootloop atau gagal booting.

Lalu yang kedua adalah ponsel kamu sudah harus di-rooting. Jika belum tahu rooting itu apa, lebih baik belajar dulu. Jika belum root, maka bisa melakukan langkah sebelumnya yakni rooting Lenovo A706 tanpa menggunakan komputer. Jika semuanya sudah terpenuhi, saatnya kamu mulai melakukan langkah-langkah berikut ini:

1. Download CWM Recovery disini: http://go.hanyalewat.science/6562006/cwm-a706.zip (versi teks) atau http://go.hanyalewat.science/6562006/cwm-a706-touch.zip (versi touch).
2. Extract menggunakan program favorit kamu, maka akan didapatkan sebuah file bernama recovery.img, pindahkan ke internal memory tapi tidak di dalam folder apapun.
3. Buka Terminal Emulator. Jalankan perintah ini (tanda $ termasuk perintah): $ su lalu tekan enter maka akan keluar permintaan akses root dari teminal emulator. Setelah kamu klik ijinkan/grant access, maka prompt akan berubah menjadi # yang artinya adalah mode root.
4. Jalankan lagi perintah ini: # dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13 if=/sdcard/stock-recovery.img lalu tekan enter. Fungsinya adalah untuk membackup recovery bawaan dari Lenovo A706.
5. Jalankan lagi perintah ini: # dd if=/sdcard/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13 lalu tekan enter. Yang perlu diingat adalah letak recovery.img itu harus benar. Coba lihat perbedaannya dengan perintah sebelumnya.
6. Akan keluar tiga baris dengan dua baris pertama berisikan tulisan records in dan baris kedua records out. Dan jika tidak ada pesan kesalahan atau error, maka ketik saja # reboot lalu tekan enter.

Smartphone Lenovo A706 kamu akan reboot dan kembali booting ke system. Untuk mencoba CWM Recovery, kamu perlu mematikan ponselmu, lalu hidupkan dengan cara menekan berbarengan tombol Power, Volume Up dan Volume Down. Jika sudah keluar logo Lenovo, lepaskan tombol power tapi tetap menekan dua tombol volume.

Jika yang muncul adalah layar dengan menu kecil bergambar robot hijau Android, maka instalasi CWM Recovery gagal dilakukan. Tetapi jika yang keluar menunya berbeda dengan gambar topi tinggi pesulap, maka itu benar-benar CWM dan saya ucapkan selamat. Ada pertanyaan? Silahkan di kolom komentar.

     Ada beberapa hardware A706 yang tidak bisa diinstall CWM jika ROM masih menggunakan stock, kebetulan teman saya juga seperti itu. 🙂
     Jadi mesti install custom rom dulu. Memang aneh sih, tapi setahu saya hanya itu caranya.

   kalau untuk lenovo yang masih pakai stock room dan gak bisa di instal cwm, sebenarnya bisa di akali, setelah selesai instal cwm langsung reboot recovery maka akan muncul recovery cwm namun setelah reboot lagi akan maka akan kembali lagi ke recovery stock.
   jadi tiap mau recovery ke cwm saya selalu instal lagi cwm recoverynya..:( agak ribet sich…
