Asyiknya Kompas Green Lifestyle Campaign di JDV
Sabtu (13/9) lalu aku mengikuti sebuah acara yang bertajuk Green Campaign: A Green Lifestyle for Yogyakarta. Acara ini merupakan kerjasama antara Kompas, SwitchAsia dan Jogja Digital Valley.
Berfoto bersama dengan pak Pepih Nugroho, Manager Kompasiana.
Tujuan acara ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan gaya hidup ramah lingkungan kepada generasi muda, khususnya blogger dan fotografer. Paling tidak meluruskan persepsi bahwa ramah lingkungan bukan berarti harus kembali ke jaman batu. Ramah lingkungan berarti berpikir dulu sebelum bertindak, seperti slogannya, yakni Don’t just recycle, think first.
Pemahaman tentang Green Product
Oleh-oleh dari Kompas
Dalam acara ini saya mendapatkan banyak sekali wawasan tentang Green Product atau produk ramah lingkungan. Penjelasan diberikan oleh Dr. Edzhard Ruhe, Team Leader dari program SCP (Sustainable Consumption & Production) yang digagas oleh SwicthAsia bekerjasama dengan Kementrian Lingkungan Hidup. Jangan salah, meskipun bule, pak Ed ini cukup fasih berbahasa Indonesia, lho. Tentu saja dengan logat yang sedikit aneh di telinga kita.
Pak Ed menjelaskan bagaimana kita secara cerdas memilih produk yang lebih ramah lingkungan. Salah satunya adalah seringkali kita terbius dengan harga produk yang murah, namun setelah dihitung secara keseluruhan ternyata jatuhnya lebih mahal. Itu karena kita tidak cerdas dalam menghitung. Kalo aku tulis apa yang pak Ed sampaikan, kalian bakal bosan membacanya. Bagaimana kalo kalian download saja materinya? Oke, nanti lihat kotak di bagian paling bawah.

Hm, selama ini saya kemana ya? Hahaha. Ya wajar sih, punya akun Kompasiana sejak 2011 cuma buat komeng, eh, komentar saja.

Acara kemarin sangat menarik karena banyak sekali blogger yang ikut, terutama dari Komunitas Blogger Jogja. Ditambah dengan acara kuis yang ada doorprize-nya, maka makin ramai saja. Asyiknya sulit dikatakan dengan kata-kata. Sayang sekali aku tak mendapat kesempatan berfoto dengan pak Ed karena beliau harus buru-buru pulang.
