Memperbesar Internal Storage Lenovo A706

Jika anda menggunakan gadget Lenovo A706 dan ingin memasang aplikasi yang cukup banyak, internal storage pasti menjadi masalah. Meskipun dibekali ROM 4GB, tetapi pengaturan partisi storage-nya kurang pas.

Hal ini menyebabkan partisi sistem tersisa cukup banyak, sedangkan partisi internal hanya bersisa sedikit. Android tidaklah seperti Linux yang bisa kita atur partisinya sesuka hati. Meskipun begitu, selalu ada solusi untuk Android.

Gunakan Link2SD, memperluas internal storage

Tidak perlu berlama-lama untuk membahas hal ini, sebaiknya segera siapkan item berikut ini:

• Pengetahuan dasar tentang partisi, filesistem, Android, root dan sejenisnya.
• Ponsel Lenovo A706 yang sudah root.
• MicroSD minimal 8 GB dengan class 10 atau diatasnya.
• Link2SD, download di Play Store, tak perlu yang versi premium.
• Root Explorer, jika anda belum memiliki bisa mengunduh di: http://go.hanyalewat.science/6562006/root-explorer-a706.apk.

Menyiapkan partisi data dan Link2SD

Langkah pertama adalah menyiapkan partisi di microSD anda. Anda bisa menggunakan Aparted yang dapat diunduh dari Playstore. Tetapi saya tidak menyarankan menggunakannya jika microSD anda sudah ada datanya. Saya lebih suka menggunakan Minitool Partition Wizard, tetapi harus menggunakan komputer untuk melakukan re-partisi.

Minitool Partition Wizard mudah digunakan. Anda bisa mencari referensi di Google tentang cara menggunakannya, jika memang anda benar-benar tidak tahu. Yang terpenting adalah anda melakukan split microSD anda menjadi dua partisi, yakni partisi untuk data biasa (filesystem FAT32) dan partisi untuk Link2SD (filesistem Linux Ext4).

INGAT! Pastikan partisi untuk data biasa (FAT32) berada pada posisi primary pertama.

Jika anda meletakkan partisi FAT32 di primary kedua, maka Windows tidak akan bisa membaca partisi tersebut. Hal ini akan berakibat pada tidak munculnya partisi anda di Windows saat ponsel dicolokkan ke komputer dan masuk mode USB Storage.

Menjalankan dan mensetting Link2SD

Langkah kedua, setelah partisi Ext4 untuk Link2SD sudah diformat, maka saatnya mengembalikan ke ponsel anda. Jalankan Link2SD dan akan ada permintaan untuk mount lalu pilih sesuai dengan filesystem anda, yakni Ext4 dan klik OK. Setelah itu akan ada permintaan restart, JANGAN RESTART, pilih OK saja.

Masih di layar Link2SD, masuk ke menu Setting (tap kanan atas, tap Setting). Buang semua centang/checklist yang ada di situ, periksa semua dengan scroll ke bawah. Pastikan tidak ada satupun yang tercentang. Bagian bawah di menu Setting ini, tap pada menu Install Location, pilih Internal, lalu klik Cancel.

Melakukan linking dengan Root Explorer

Langkah ketiga, buka Root Explorer, navigasi ke /data atau pilih saja tab root, lalu cari folder data. Cari folder app, app-private dan dalvik-cache lalu centang masing-masing folder tersebut. Copy dengan cara menekan logo copy di kiri bawah. Cari folder sdext2 lalu masuk ke dalamnya. Setelah itu tap menu Copy Here di kiri bawah.

Langkah terakhir, tekan lama pada folder app, setelah itu akan muncul menu. Pilih menu “Link to this folder”, menu-nya paling bawah. Setelah itu kembalilah ke folder data dengan klik folder .. (Parent folder) atau tekan tombol back. Tekan menu Create Link di kiri bawah. Jika ada warning, klik OK saja. Lakukan hal yang sama pada folder app-private dan dalvik-cache.

Setelah semuanya terpasang dengan benar, tutup Root Explorer dan silahkan reboot ponsel Lenovo A706 anda. Coba sekarang lihat di Settings->Apps->Manage Apps, internal memory anda akan sangat lega. Sekarang anda bisa install aplikasi sebanyak yang anda mau. Selamat mencoba!
